
WELLMONT EARNS FOUR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
AWARDS IN STATEWIDE CONTEST
KINGSPORT – Wellmont Health System earned four awards in the Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations' annual Prism awards.
Wellmont received three Prism awards and a Citation of Excellence. The health system's employee newsletter, the eConnection, earned the top award in the category of internal publications. The health system also took top honors in television paid advertising for its "Candy Hearts" commercial and in social media tools for "Gimme Three Shots," a viral video promoting flu vaccination.
Wellmont received a Citation of Excellence for its Tweetcast programs in the category of social media programs.
Hospitals and healthcare systems from across Tennessee entered this year's competition. The health system's in-house marketing communications department produced all of Wellmont's winning entries.
The Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations is the largest organization of healthcare communicators in the state.
